Alta Badia is consistently rated among the finest ski areas in the Alps, and the La Villa gondola to Piz La Ila is one of its key access points. Installed by Doppelmayr in 2015, it departs from the village of La Villa at 1,486 metres and arrives at the broad plateau of Piz La Ila at 2,100 metres, a perfectly positioned point for exploring the Alta Badia domain in multiple directions and connecting into the Sellaronda circuit.

Alta Badia’s reputation rests on three pillars: the skiing, the food, and the Ladin culture. The skiing covers an extensive terrain across the Corvara, Colfosco, San Cassiano and La Villa sectors, interconnected through modern lift systems that allow virtually unlimited exploration.
